In 2001, four students and their business teacher came together to form the Ludington High School Chapter of Business Professionals of America. Since then, LHS BPA has been honored with three Michigan BPA "Chapter of the Year" Awards and "Quality Chapter Distinction" from the national BPA office for our outstanding community service projects, professional development workshops and fundraising endeavors.
In 2013, LHS BPA made history when we started the first middle school BPA chapter in the State of Michigan. Since then, the O.J. DeJonge Middle School Chapter of Business Professionals of America has not failed to live up to the name of its big brother. In 2015, OJ BPA made history and founded the Michigan BPA Middle Level Association, offering schools from all corners of Michigan the opportunity to learn and compete against one another in business related events. Together, we are Ludington BPA: a family of students 6th thru 12th grade who are dedicated to helping our community while at the same time preparing ourselves for successful careers in the business world. It's a win/win for everyone. |
